Job Description

40% 1. Closely monitor the whole warehouse area (using tour sheet’check list) to ensure the WH conditions are at high standard at all times, in accordance with Cargill Policies, FSQR & EHS requirements and all the activities of WH operations follow the respective SOP’s,  
10% 2. Initiate and lead continuous improvement projects in order to maximize warehouse efficiency and space, protect stock integrity, control shrink, Customer OTIF and improve order fulfillment process and cycle time.  
5%  3. Work closely with supply planner to ensure stock availability, productivity,, warehouse space untilization, plant efficiency, warehouse operation order fulfillment cycle time maximized and efficient.  
10% 4. To supervise and coordinate warehouse team in their various duties and ensure that the works are completed within the required timescales and with the quality standard determined by the internal and external customer, in accordance with Cargill Policies, FSQR & EHS requirements.  
5%  5. To produce a daily plan which provides details of staff, resource, productivity and volume. To contribute to the development of local policy designed to provide and maintain safe and healthy working conditions, equipment and safe systems of work for all employees.  
20% 6. To maintain adequate warehouse team by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees. Maintain warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results. To recommend regarding and related pay increases for controlled staff.To build the good team work and keep good work relationships both internal and external. To develop and maintain good and effective team communication at all levels. 
5%  7. Maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisition for replacement. Complete warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results. . Participate in meetings with other departments regarding the resolutions of on-going warehouse issues and the implementation of new projects, new procedures and processes, co-ordinating with other functional department in regular evaluation of FSQR, EHS, energy, material saving...Deal efficiently with any queries that are raised by either internal/external customers, or cross function. Any issues/problems during warehouse operation are to be reported with proposed solutions.  
5%  8. Ensure system transactions and physical transactions updated in a timely and correct manner. To produce as required weekly and monthly KPI Report, and other statistics and performance measurement data

Job Requirement

Education (includes formal education, certifications, accreditations, etc)

  • Degree holder in Engineer, Business, Accounts, Logistics or similar.
  • 1-3 years in warehouse management. Willing to learn.  
  • Possess certificates of CPIM, GMP, HACCCP, ISO9001, ISO22000, EHS, Safety…will be advantages.
  • Experience
  • Demonstrates expert knowledge in warehousing and inventory.
  • People management. 
  • Skills (applied knowledge and technical skills directly related to this position) 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (word, excel, PP). 
  • Writing and Reading English at intermediate level is an advantage. 
  • Logical thinking, willing to learn & develop in Warehouse & Production
